How to make an online payment?

1. Log in to My ServiceOttawa.
2. Select View tax accounts.
3. Select View for the account you are looking to make a payment towards; this will display Account details.
4. Select Pay online by payment card which will re-route you to the Paymentus website.
5. Once Paymentus site has launched, enter in your 19-digit property tax roll number and email address (once in Email field and again in Re-Enter email field).
6. Select Continue.
7. Enter all required information.
   1. First name, Last name, Phone number
   2. Amount of payment
   3. Payment Method
8. Enter card information – card number, card security number (CVV), expiration date, and cardholder name.
9. Select Continue
10. Verify transaction details - Select box to agree to Payment Authorization Terms (service charge and terms and conditions)
11. Select Pay $ (dollar amount shown should include both payment amount and associated fees)

Note: A confirmation screen with a reference number will confirm the online payment card payment is submitted. Client will also receive an email confirming the transaction has been processed. Client can: make another payment, print the page, close the window and return to My ServiceOttawa, or return to City of Ottawa(link is external).
