- Log in to My ServiceOttawa.
- Select View water account.
- Select account from the drop down beside the account #.
- Click on Stop, start or transfer service in the menu on the left.
- Click on transfer account if moving within the city or cancel account otherwise.
- Enter closing date(s), new service address or forwarding address/contact information for final bill and select between owner/tenant.
- Click Submit/Validate
Confirmation will appear in green box on screen.
Alternatively, please contact revenue branch (613-580-2444, option 1) to schedule a final meter reading for your water and sewer account. To schedule a final meter reading, you will be asked for the purchaser name/s, the closing date and a forwarding address. Once a final meter reading is taken, a final bill will be issued.
